Sales and Purchasing
Shearline sells its equipment directly.
We do not use dealers or resellers.
All purchases are handled through direct communication with Shearline.
Quotes, payment terms, lead times, and shipping arrangements are confirmed in writing as part of the sales process.
Manufacturing and Shipping
Shearline equipment is manufactured and shipped from Canada.
International customers are responsible for any applicable duties, taxes, customs fees, or import requirements unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Use of Equipment
Shearline equipment is intended for professional use and must be operated in accordance with provided instructions and applicable safety standards.
Shearline is not responsible for damage, injury, or loss resulting from:
- Improper use
- Modifications or unauthorized repairs
- Operation outside intended use or specifications
Warranty and Support
Shearline-built equipment and components are covered against defects in materials and workmanship for five years from the original date of purchase when used for their intended commercial purpose.
The five-year warranty includes the Shearline Original trimmer, integrated Auto-Feeder, Tandem buckers, sorting system, motors supplied as part of Shearline equipment, bearings, electrical controls, cutting-system components, frames, and mechanical assemblies.
The Oneida cyclone/collection system and its motor are covered separately under Oneida Air Systems’ applicable manufacturer warranty. Modifications made by Shearline to the collection system are covered by Shearline’s five-year warranty.
If a covered component fails during normal intended use, Shearline will, at its discretion, repair or replace the component.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by abuse, neglect, misuse, improper electrical supply or wiring, accident, unauthorized modification, or operation outside Shearline’s published instructions. Normal commercial operation is not considered abuse.
Routine cleaning, adjustment, and removal and reinstallation of components for cleaning or normal service do not affect warranty coverage when performed according to Shearline instructions.
Warranty and technical support are provided directly by Shearline. Shearline may request photographs, video, or other reasonable information to diagnose or confirm a problem. Replacement components supplied under warranty remain covered for the balance of the original five-year warranty period.
Shipping, freight, and third-party or onsite labor are the customer’s responsibility unless specifically authorized by Shearline in writing.
The warranty covers repair or replacement of covered equipment and components and does not cover lost production, crop loss, lost revenue, or other indirect or consequential business losses.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 0933959 B.C. Ltd. (DBA Gateway Concepts / Shearline) shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or its equipment.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, and designs, is the property of Shearline unless otherwise stated and may not be reproduced without permission.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
